Nan Ying Vocation High School was established on October 30, 1917, as the first commercial school of technical and vocational education. To meet the need created by our rapid economic and industrial development for highly trained workers, the school was extended to the industrial level in 1967.

       The campus, located in the central area of Tainan city, covers an area of 12 acres. Current enrollment is over 1,900 students of day school and night school, with 130 full-time faculty.

      The school now offers eleven commercial and industrial programs, including Dept. of Data Processing, Dept. of Restaurant Management, Dept. of Film & Television, Japanese Program, Dept. of Applied Foreign Languages, Dept. of Logistics and Distribution,  Dept. of Tourism Industry, Dept. of Multimedia Animation, Dept. of Electric & Air-Condition, Dept. of Auto Mechanics, Dept. of Restaurant Skills, Dept. of Motorcycle Maintenance.
